About Me
My name is Samuel Craig, and I’m a Brisbane-based filmmaker with a passion for storytelling and a strong interest in the creative and practical sides of film production.
My experience spans directing and writing, as well as behind-the-scenes roles including production management, BTS content, catering, and general on-set support.
I enjoy collaborating with others to bring creative ideas to life, exploring different approaches to visual storytelling, and contributing wherever I’m needed to help a production run smoothly. I’m always eager to learn, develop my skills, and take on new creative challenges across the industry.
My goal is to build a professional career in film, work on a diverse range of projects, and continue growing as a filmmaker. I’m open to new opportunities and excited to collaborate with others who share a passion for meaningful, engaging work.

Directing
My passion for directing has developed throughout my life, leading me to direct several short films, including You’re Not Welcome Here, which won the Audience Choice Award at the 2021 Greenlight Film Festival, and How to Stay Safe. Through these projects, I continue to develop my approach to visual storytelling and bring creative ideas to life on screen.
Catering
I have experience providing catering for a range of film productions, including the Moonboots music video for Seeing Stars, as well as my own short films, How to Stay Safe and You’re Not Welcome Here. I understand the importance of keeping cast and crew well-fed and supported throughout a shoot, and I take pride in helping create a comfortable, positive, and productive on-set environment.
Production Assistant
I have experience working as a Production Assistant across a diverse range of projects, including Whiskey a Go Go, a documentary, and the short film Gloves. These opportunities have allowed me to contribute to a variety of productions and develop my experience within the film and entertainment industry.
